Two Nepalis killed in car accident in Oman

KATHMANDU: Two Nepali nationals, a young man and woman, were killed in a car accident on Nizwa-Izki Road in Oman last Sunday.

According to the Nepali Embassy in the capital city of Muscat, the victims were identified as Nar Bahadur Saru, a resident of Tilottama Municipality in Rupandehi, and Samita Budhathoki from Jhapa.

Saru was driving the car when it suddenly went out of control, leading to the fatal crash.

Saru had been working as a merchandiser for Al Seer Group since 2018, while Budhathoki was employed as a hairstylist at the Waradat Al Saab Al Dhabya Hina & Beauty Center.

She had only arrived in Oman two years ago.
