Bagmati State govt releases 67-point common minimum programme

KATHMANDU: The coalition government formed by the Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML) in Bagmati State has announced the common minimum programme.

Chief Minister Bahadur Singh Lama announced the common minimum programme of the government in the State Assembly secretariat, which he argued, emphasized economic prosperity and infrastructure development.

He said that government was concentrated on development of tourism and promotion of good governance.

Similarly, UML parliamentary party leader in Bagmati State, Jagannath Thapaliya, said that priority was given to the projects of national pride and development infrastructure. Allocation of budget was fair as it included sentiments of various parties in the parliament.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s parliamentary party leader in Bagmati State, Uddhav Thapa, emphasized that the State government should be accountable to the people.

Establishment of provincial police and State investigation bureaus in coordination with the federal government, full compliance with the constitutional system based on the principles of inter-relationship were stressed in the programme.

Members of the Council of Ministers in State, State Assembly members and media persons were present in the programme.
