Drama a powerful means of expression: Former President Yadav

KATHMANDU: Former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has said drama is one of the compelling means of expression.

Launching a book entitled ‘Nepali Natya Vimarsha’ (Drama discourse) here Sunday, the former President viewed the playwrights play significant roles in promoting country and society.

Similarly, Senior Vice Chairman of CPN UML, Ishwar Pokharel, commented that the book has reflected well the history of Nepal.

The book is edited by the President of the Natya Pratishthan, Ram Chandra Pokharel. It is divided into four sections.

Actors Shakuntala Sharma, Ashesh Malla, Sunil Pokharel and Madhav Baral were honored in the programme.

The book was published by the Natya Pratishthan.
