RSP issues circular for activists to gather at party office; Lamichhane in internal discussions

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has called for an emergency meeting after the arrest of its President, Rabi Lamichhane.

Party officials have instructed activists in the Kathmandu Valley to gather at the central office on Sunday evening.

In a message sent via mobile, the party urged its members to come to the party office immediately.

Reports indicate that Lamichhane and other leaders are currently at the Bansthali party office.

The meeting was convened in response to concerns about Lamichhane’s potential arrest, as he previously served as the managing director of Gorkha Media.
