International Fish Festival kicks off in Malta

KATHMANDU: The 2024 edition of the Malta International Fish Festival has kicked off in Marsaxlokk, southern Malta.

This event brings together fishermen, industry associations, and local producers, showcasing a wide range of seafood products.

The festival aims to promote Malta’s diverse seafood offerings, including the popular seasonal fish Lampuki, which is currently in abundance.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about the main types of fish caught in Maltese waters and explore traditional fishing tools used by local fishermen.
