Two youths killed as bike overturns after losing control in Narayangadh

KATHMANDU: Two individuals were killed in a motorcycle accident near Lilachowk, Narayangadh, in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-2 late last night.
The deceased have been identified as 26-year-old Rabin Thapa of Congresschowk, Gaidakot Municipality-5, Nawalpur District, and 40-year-old Purna Bahadur Gurung of Dudh Pokhari Rural Municipality-6, Lamjung.
Thapa was driving the motorcycle.
The accident occurred at 1:20 AM on Friday night when the motorcycle (registration number: Ba Pra Pa 06-002 Pa 3145), traveling from Narayangadh Sahichowk towards Pokhara Bus Park, lost control and overturned on an inner road near Lilachowk.
Both individuals, who sustained severe injuries, were rushed to the Teaching Hospital at Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur, where they were pronounced dead, according to police reports.
