Weather: Light to moderate rainfall likely today
This afternoon, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim States, and mostly clear in the remaining States.
KATHMANDU: The weather is currently partly cloudy to mostly cloudy in the hilly region, and partly cloudy in the remaining parts of the country.
Furthermore, light rain with thunder and lightning occurs at one or two places in Karnali State.
This is due to the influence of Monsoon winds still active across the country, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
