Bollywood choreographer Jani Master arrested on sexual misconduct charges

KATHMANDU: Bollywood choreographer Jani Master, known for songs like “Aaj Ki Raat” and “Aayi Nahi” from the film Stree 2, has been arrested by the Cyberabad police on charges of sexual misconduct.

According to Indian media outlet Dainik Bhaskar, a 21-year-old woman has accused the choreographer of sexual harassment.
The arrest followed a complaint filed by the woman, alleging repeated sexual misconduct by Jani Master during outdoor shooting sessions.
The complaint was lodged at the Narsingi Police Station in Hyderabad on Sept 16, in which the woman detailed her accusations of prolonged harassment by Jani Master over several years.
Jani Master is a prominent choreographer, having worked on songs like “Aayi Nahi” from Stree 2 and the popular track “Srivalli” from the movie Pushpa.
