Nepal Constitution Day celebrated in USA

TEXAS (USA): The Nepali Embassy in USA celebrated the Constitution Day by organizing a ‘Nepal Day’ programme. Chargé d’Affaires at the Nepali embassy USA Kumar Kharel informed about the features of the Constitution of Nepal 2072 BS at the ‘Nepal Day’ programme organized in the auditorium of the Nepali Embassy in Washington DC.

Dr. Arjun Banjade, President of the Non-Resident Nepalese Association of America, discussed the importance of the Constitution Day on behalf of the non-resident Nepalis at the Nepal at the programme and mentioned that the non-resident Nepalese citizenship should be fully implemented by creating laws as per the constitution of Nepal.

The programme was attended by representatives of the Nepali Embassy, representatives of various organizations of the Nepali community in America.

Regarding the Nepal Day programme, the team led by Nepali Society Texas chair Rajendra Wagle submitted a memorandum to Kharel for the immediate operation of a consular camp in Dallas.
