Confirmation: Rabi Lamichhane received over Rs 1 Crore in salary from Cooperative Funds

KATHMANDU: A report from the Cooperative Investigation Committee has revealed that Ravi Lamichhane, the President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), received a salary exceeding Rs 10 million from Galaxy 4K Television.

According to the report, Lamichhane earned Rs 7,436,587 in the fiscal year 2078/79 and Rs 3 million in the previous fiscal year.

This confirmation has raised questions regarding the financial practices of public figures in Nepal.
