60-year-old Tamang held for raping a 56-year-old woman

KATHMANDU: A Tehrathum, 60-year-old Prem Tamang, resident of Bhojpur Salpasilicho Rural Municipality-5 and living in a rented room in Gairi Tole, Laliguras Municipality-1, Tehrathum, has been arrested by the police on Thursday afternoon on the charge of raping a 56-year-old woman.

Based on a complaint that Tamang raped the woman on the night of Bhadra 30, the police station from the local police office Basantpur arrested him.

The police are investigating further in this regard.
