FNJ fails to hold election on scheduled date for the third time
The Election Committee has announced that the nomination program has been suspended until further notice.
KATHMANDU: The candidate nomination program for the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) election, which was scheduled for today, has been postponed at the last moment.
The Election Committee has announced that the nomination program has been suspended until further notice.
In a notice issued by the committee, it stated, “The election program for the Central Committee, State Committees, District Branches, Institutional Branches, and Foundation Branches of the FNJ, scheduled for Ashoj 12, 2081, was previously published.
According to the program, the candidate nomination was to be held on Ashoj 4, 2081. However, based on a letter received from the FNJ, the nomination registration and other activities scheduled for Ashoj 4, 2081, have been postponed until further notice.”
The Election Committee further emphasized its commitment to holding the election on the scheduled date and time set by the FNJ.
