KATHMANDU: On the occasion of Constitution Day, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli urged citizens to utilize the freedoms provided by the constitution to secure a better future.
In his message of well-wishes, Prime Minister Oli emphasized that the constitution equally protects different ideologies, communities, regions, genders, castes, and religions.
Highlighting the importance of the constitution, he said, “The constitution has empowered the people. The current generation should never forget the long period of autocratic rule endured by the people.”
Oli further added, “When reflecting on the consequences of losing freedom, the image of society from two decades ago comes to mind. We must ensure our future by wisely using the freedoms granted by the constitution.”
