Tractor plunges into Seti River, 2 missing

KATHMANDU: Two individuals are missing after a tractor accident in the Seti River of Bajhang district.
The accident occurred this morning when a tractor travelling from Moribagar to Jhanan in Durgathali Rural Municipality lost control and crashed.
According to Kishor Joshi, the information officer at the District Police Office, the tractor was driven by 20-year-old Sanjay Budha from Bheri Municipality-2, Jajarkot.
The tractor reportedly plunged 50 meters down into the Seti River, leaving the driver and another person missing.
Officer Joshi mentioned that the tractor’s registration number and the identity of the second missing person are yet to be confirmed.
A team led by a Deputy Inspector of Police has rescued three injured individuals, while the search for the missing persons is ongoing
