KATHMANDU: Rajendra Mahato, the coordinator of the Rastriya Mukti Kranti, has announced the formation of a new political party.

On Tuesday, during an expanded meeting of the Rastriya Mukti Kranti in Kathmandu, Mahato revealed the new political party.

He mentioned that he will move forward with the process of registering the party with the Election Commission in the first week of Kartik (October-November).

The party will be named National Liberation Revolution Nepal, and the extended meeting of the Rastriya Mukti Kranti has decided that Mahato himself will be the party’s president.

Mahato’s announcement comes about 8 months after his departure from the Democratic Socialist Party, Nepal.
