Deputy Speaker Rana on foreign visit

KATHMANDU: Deputy Speaker Indira Rana has departed for Dubai, United Arab Emirates, today, en route to Russia’s Saint Petersburg to participate in the ‘4th Eurasian Women’s Forum,’ scheduled from Sept 18 to 20 (Asoj 2 to 4).

She will travel to Saint Petersburg via Moscow, the capital of Russia.

The forum is organized by the Russian Federation and the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

According to her personal secretariat, Rana is scheduled to address the forum on Sept 19 (Asoj 3).

She is expected to return to Nepal on Sept 20 (Asoj 5).
