KATHMANDU: The first national assembly of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is set to begin in Kathmandu today at the Pragya Pratisthan, Kamaladi.

The assembly will continue until tomorrow.

According to the RSP, discussions will focus on various agendas, including ideas, organizational matters, parliamentary issues, campaigns, values and principles, the Candidate Club-Leadership Academy, and amendments to the party’s statute.

Party president Rabi Lamichhane will present a political report, while Acting General Secretary and Head of the Organizational Department, Burlakoti, will present an organizational report.

The assembly is expected to announce a national campaign and set the date for the party’s first general convention.

Representatives from electoral constituency committees, district coordinators and deputy coordinators, state committees and departments, and central committees and commissions will participate from across the country.
