New record for gold prices: Over 157,000 per tola

KATHMANDU: In the Nepali market, the price of gold has increased on the second trading day of the week (Monday).

For the past three days, the gold price has been setting new records.

On Sunday, hallmark gold was traded at Rs 156,800 per tola. Today, the price has risen by Rs 500 per tola, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The current price of gold is Rs 157,300 per tola, marking the highest price ever recorded.

Silver prices have also risen today. On Monday, the price of silver is being traded at Rs 1,915 per tola.
