Buddha Air flight to Bharatpur faces technical issue, passengers disembarked

KATHMANDU: A Buddha Air flight from Kathmandu to Bharatpur encountered a technical issue.

The aircraft, which was preparing to take off for Bharatpur in the morning, experienced a problem.

Due to the issue, the plane stopped on the taxiway, and passengers were disembarked.

This has also caused delays in other flights.

The flight, scheduled to depart for Bharatpur at 7:20 AM, had reached the taxiway when a “wheel lock” problem was detected, according to Tribhuvan International Airport General Manager Jagannath Niraula.
