FNJ election postponed yet again

KATHMANDU: The election of the Federation of Nepali Journalists has been postponed once again.

Acting Chair Ramesh Bista issued a press release informing about the postponement.

Previously scheduled for Sept 21 (Ashoj 5), the election has now been rescheduled for Sept 28 (Ashoj 12), according to the Federation’s communication to the election committee.

The Federation’s press release stated that a minor adjustment in the election date was made due to the unforeseen situation after President Bipul Pokhrel’s resignation.

The Federation also announced that the voter list and election schedule will be made public on Saturday as per mutual agreement.
