Deuba & Prachanda meet PM Oli at Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Maoist Center Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ have reached at Baluwatar to meet Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

The two leaders entered Baluwatar a short while ago.

There has been an ongoing dispute in the House of Representatives between the Maoists and the UML over the use of the word “violence” in recent days.

Due to this controversy, the House meeting has been postponed until the 31st of the month.

Additionally, the ruling coalition is preparing to remove Deputy Speaker Indira Rana, which has been met with opposition from the Maoists and other opposition parties.

This context makes the meeting between the top leaders particularly significant.
