Two-year-old girl dies in Bolero hit
The District Police Office, Tanahun, reported that Dipsa Shrestha, the two-year-old daughter of Shanta Shrestha was fatally injured in the accident.
KATHMANDU: A two-year-old girl has died after being hit by a Bolero jeep in Kalesti Bazaar, Byas Municipality-7.
The District Police Office, Tanahun, reported that Dipsa Shrestha, the two-year-old daughter of Shanta Shrestha, a resident of Byas-7 Kalesti, originally from Gajuri Municipality-3, Dhading, was fatally injured in the accident.
The jeep, with license plate number Ga 3 Cha 1219, was traveling from Dui Pipale towards Damauli when it struck the pedestrian, Shrestha, at around 7:30 PM on the Lamjung-Bhorletar road section.
Shrestha, who was critically injured in the incident, passed away during treatment at Ratnahari Hospital in Damauli.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Rai from the District Police Office informed that an investigation has been launched and legal action will be taken against the driver.
