Gold prices soars today

KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the Nepali market set a new record today (Wednesday). The price of hallmark gold has reached Rs 153,400 per tola.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, this is the highest price ever recorded.

On Tuesday, hallmark gold was traded at Rs 152,400 per tola, but today it increased by Rs 1,000, bringing the price to Rs 153,400 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has also risen.

On Tuesday, silver was priced at Rs 1,765 per tola, and today it increased to Rs 1,780 per tola.
