MoU between Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank & Rotary International District 3292

KATHMANDU: On the occasion of International Literacy Day on Sept 8, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank and Rotary International District 3292.

According to the agreement, the bank will provide necessary coordination and support under its corporate social responsibility to upgrade various public/community educational institutions and to construct and improve sanitation facilities.

This initiative is expected to contribute towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal of “Clean Water and Sanitation for All” and to enhance access to sanitation and hygiene facilities in line with the bank’s policy of effective implementation of its corporate social responsibility.
