House of elderly man destroyed in Bhojpur fire due to electrical short

KATHMANDU: An 82-year-old man, Jit Bahadur Rai, a resident of Hatuwagadhi Rural Municipality-9, Tamtang, Bhojpur, lost his home in a fire caused by an electrical short circuit on Saturday night.

The fire completely destroyed the house, resulting in the loss of property worth around Rs 300,000.

Residents, along with the police, worked together to bring the fire under control.

Authorities are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.
