MBBL partners with Round Table Nepal for eco-friendly paper disposal & education support

KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank and Round Table Nepal have initiated a collaboration to properly dispose of the disposable paper generated daily by the bank.

The partnership aims to raise awareness about discouraging the destruction of old papers and promote environmental protection through reuse and recycling, with the primary objective of supporting the educational development of socially disadvantaged students.

Under the collaboration, Round Table Nepal will collect disposable papers from various branches of Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank.

These collected papers will be given to designated paper manufacturing companies for recycling, under the direct supervision of both Round Table Nepal and Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank.

The funds generated through this recycling process will be used to improve access to education and foster the educational development of underprivileged and needy students. Both organizations believe that this initiative will further strengthen the bank’s corporate social responsibility efforts and support Round Table Nepal’s ongoing project, “Educate the Children.”
