One held for raping in Dang

KATHMANDU: A 46-year-old Durga Bahadur Sarki, resident of Dang, Shantinagar Rural Municipality-1 Jyamire, was arrested by the police on Saturday afternoon on charges of raping a 37-year-old woman.

Based on a complaint that Saraki raped the woman in the maize field of the same place on the night of Bhadra 13, the police stationed from the area police office in Tulsipur arrested him.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
