Weather: Heavy rainfall likely in five states
The weather at present is partial to generally cloudy, with light rainfall taking place in few places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim States.
KATHMANDU: According to the Weather Forecasting Division, heavy rainfall is likely this afternoon in the hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim States.
This is due to the effect of the monsoon, which is still active in the country.
The weather at present is partial to generally cloudy, with light rainfall taking place in few places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim States.
Tonight, the weather will remain partial to generally cloudy across the country, with chances of rainfall in some parts of hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali States.
Light to medium rainfall will likely occur in other parts of the country.
According to a weather bulletin released by the Division this morning, heavy rainfall is likely to occur in one or two places in the hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim States in the next 24 hours.
