KATHMANDU: The third ‘Nepal Power, Light & Electric and Nepal Consumer Electronics & Home Appliances’ international exhibition is set to take place, jointly organized by Media Space Solutions, Futurex Trade Fair & Events, and Exhibition & Trade Services India Pvt. Ltd.

The event will be held from Bhadra 21 to 23 (Sept 6-8) at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu. According to the organizers, the exhibition will be inaugurated by the Minister of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, Dipak Khadka, on Bhadra 21 (Sept 6) at 11:00 AM.

This exhibition, being organized for the third time, will feature more than 150 stalls from domestic and international companies. The event will showcase high-quality, state-of-the-art, and innovative products including transmission and distribution materials, energy supply and control devices, house wiring materials, wires, cables, conductors, advanced switches, LED lighting, electronics, household appliances, charging stations, batteries, office technology, and other electrical products.

The organizers stated that the aim of this exhibition is to promote the consumption of increasing hydropower production within Nepal, thus strengthening the country’s economy. It also aims to promote the overall development and trade of energy and electrical businesses.

The exhibition will help promote and encourage the use of electrical equipment, support the business development of quality electrical materials, and facilitate domestic and international trade in this sector. Additionally, as the event is being held during the festive season, it will offer customers the opportunity to view and purchase a variety of electrical goods in one place, especially ahead of the Dashain festival, a time when Nepali consumers traditionally purchase new electronic items.

The organizers believe the exhibition will attract many customers, given the demand for new electrical appliances during the festive season.

The goal of this edition is to gather national and international entrepreneurs from the electric, electronics, communication, information technology, and alternative energy sectors to share information on the latest industry developments, promote business, and raise awareness about the importance of efficient energy consumption among consumers.

The exhibition is centered around three core concepts: exhibition, conference, and partnership. By combining these ideas, the organizers hope to create opportunities for collaboration, strengthen relationships, and expand business prospects in the electrical, electronics, home appliance, and energy sectors in Nepal.
