Clothing worth Rs 442,000 seized in Sunsari

KATHMANDU: On September 4, in Devangunj Rural Municipality-4, Mehta Tole, Sunsari District, clothing valued at approximately Rs 442,000 was seized.

The seizure was made based on a tip-off that the clothing was being illegally stored at the residence of Sunil Mehta in the area.

A joint team comprising the Armed Police Force Nepal No. 4 Battalion Sunsari, proposed Border Security Force Captaingunj, BOP Sahevgunj, Nepal Police, and the Revenue Investigation Office conducted the operation.

The seized clothing has been handed over to the Revenue Investigation Office in Itahari for further action.
