Mayor Balen Shah challenges government over deleted Facebook post

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Mayor Balen Shah has stated that he did not delete his Facebook post.

He claimed that the government removed a status he had written about UML State MP Rekha Sharma.

Shah has challenged that if he is at fault, he should be held accountable; otherwise, the responsible parties should be held accountable.

In his Facebook post, Shah stated, “It’s not about removing the post; it’s about holding the guilty accountable. If I am wrong, hold me accountable; if not, hold the guilty accountable.”
