CPN-UML politburo meeting begins

KATHMANDU: The Central Committee (Politburo) meeting of the CPN (UML) has commenced at the party’s central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur.

The meeting, which will run until Wednesday, will focus on a detailed discussion of the party’s work plan for the year 2084.

The agenda includes deliberations on remaining district conventions, municipal and ward-level conventions, as well as membership and organizational expansion campaigns.

The party has directed that the remaining 11 district conventions, along with one special district convention, be completed by the end of Kartik (November).
