Mayor Balen Shah urges PM Oli to educate cadres before involving them in politics
Balen also mentioned that UML MP Rekha Kumari Sharma's cadres were spreading some misconceptions regarding the issue of child labor.
KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Mayor Balen Shah has urged Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to educate his party cadres in basic knowledge before involving them in politics.
Shah made this request on social media on Monday.
He suggested that without proper knowledge, those who reach positions of power might end up being manipulated by others, just as he implied had happened with the Prime Minister.
He wrote, “Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Oli, please educate your cadres in basic knowledge before involving them in politics. Without knowledge, when they reach positions of power, they might end up being manipulated by others, just like you.”
Balen also mentioned that UML MP Rekha Kumari Sharma’s cadres were spreading some misconceptions regarding the issue of child labor.
He further stated that the girl’s father, whom they had rescued, was being used by Rekha Sharma to file a habeas corpus writ against the metropolis in the Supreme Court.
