Dinesh DC assumes office as new Chair of FDB

KATHMANDU: Dinesh DC, the newly appointed chairm of the Film Development Board, officially assumed office on Monday.

He took charge by approving the production license of the film “Gyanashastra” at the board’s office, as confirmed by board member and spokesperson Khetu Lal BC.

The decision to appoint Dinesh DC as chairman was made during last Thursday’s Cabinet meeting. Dinesh DC is also well-known as a producer of television and radio programs.

The position of chair had been vacant since the tenure of the previous chair, Bhuwan KC, ended.
