NOC reduces fuel prices

KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the prices of fuel.

In a board meeting held on Saturday, the corporation decided to decrease the price of petrol by Rs 2 per liter and diesel and kerosene by Rs 1 per liter.

The corporation also announced a reduction of NPR 5 per liter in the price of domestic aviation fuel and USD 37 per kiloliter for international aviation fuel.

The revised prices will be effective from midnight tonight.

Despite an increase of Rs 35.11 per cylinder in the purchase price of LP gas, the corporation has decided to maintain the current price for the time being.

With the new rates, petrol will now cost Rs 163 per liter, and diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 154 per liter in Kathmandu.
