President Paudel certifies TRC Bill

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has authenticated the Enforced Disappearances Enquiry, Truth and Reconciliation (TRC) Bill.

The bill, which was passed by both houses of the Federal Parliament on Thursday, was certified by President Paudel in accordance with Article 113, Clause 2 of the Constitution of Nepal.

With this certification, the path is now clear for the appointment of officials to both commissions.
