Elderly dies in road accident in Sunsari

KATHMANDU: An elderly aged 80 named Laxmi Devi Chaudhary, who was riding a bicycle, died on Wednesday afternoon after being hit by a truck numbered State 1-02-001 Kha 9104 on the road of Sunsari, Barahkshetra Municipality-5 Laxmipur.

She was seriously injured in the collision and died during treatment at Birat Teaching Hospital, Biratnagar.

The police have arrested the driver of the truck and the bicycle and are conducting necessary investigations regarding the accident.
