Oman’s Foreign Minister arrives in Nepal for two-day official visit

KATHMANDU: Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al-Busaidi, arrived in Nepal this afternoon for a two-day official visit.

He was welcomed at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) by Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal.

Minister Al-Busaidi is visiting Nepal at the invitation of Nepal’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, for an official visit on the 26th and 27th of Aug.

During the visit, the foreign ministers of both countries will hold bilateral talks and discussions aimed at strengthening Nepal-Oman relations and exploring various other topics, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Omani Foreign Minister is also scheduled to pay separate courtesy calls on President Ram Chandra Paudel and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli during his visit.

He is set to depart from Kathmandu tomorrow, Aug 27.
