Man dies of electrocution

KATHMANDU: An incident occurred in Siddharthanagar Municipality-1, Belhiya, Rupandehi, where a 32-year-old laborer named Javed Akhtar from Uttar Pradesh, India, lost his life due to electrocution.

The incident took place on Monday afternoon while he was working on a new building behind the Belhiya Customs Office.

Javed was seriously injured after being electrocuted by a water pump.

He was rushed to Bhairahawa Medical College for treatment, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.

The police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
