NIC Asia Bank receives ‘Best in Digital Banking Award’
The award was presented during the 'Banking Conclave 2024' event, which was organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce on Aug 23, 2024, in New Delhi, India.
KATHMANDU: NIC Asia Bank has been awarded the Best in Digital Banking Award at the 2nd ICC Emerging Asia Banking Awards.
The bank received this recognition as part of its long-term strategy to become a ‘Digital First Bank’ by gradually transforming all its banking services into digital platforms.
The bank has stated that this award has further motivated them to enhance their efforts in digital banking.
The award was presented during the ‘Banking Conclave 2024’ event, which was organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce on Aug 23, 2024, in New Delhi, India.
Banks from BIMSTEC member countries, including Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Myanmar, competed in various categories.
Among these countries, NIC Asia Bank was the only bank from Nepal to receive this prestigious award.
To select the best banks, the Economic Affairs and Policy Department of the Indian Chamber of Commerce established 17 different criteria.
NIC Asia Bank’s success in meeting these criteria helped secure their victory in the digital banking category.
