KATHMANDU: A bus traveling from Mahendranagar to Kathmandu met with an accident this morning near Ghumaune in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 on the Muglin-Narayangadh road section, leaving 10 passengers injured.
The bus, bearing the license plate Sudurpaschim State 02–001 Kha 1332, lost control and crashed into the road divider.
The Chitwan District Police Office reported that the accident occurred when the bus became unmanageable on its own.
Fortunately, a guardrail along the roadside prevented the bus from plunging into the Trishuli River.
The injured passengers are receiving treatment, and an investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
