Police officer dies on duty in Achham

KATHMANDU: A police constable has died while on duty in Achham.

The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon when police constable Tanka Bahadur Bohara, who was on duty at the Civil Assistance Desk of the District Police Office, Achham, suddenly lost consciousness.

He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment, but the doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

Tanka Bahadur Bohara was a resident of Oligaun, Ward No. 8, Mangalsen Municipality, Achham.
