Nabil Bank mobile banking app now allows direct loading to IME Pay wallet

KATHMANDU: IME Pay, Nepal’s first digital wallet, has entered into an agreement with Nabil Bank to facilitate wallet loading.

According to the agreement, Nabil Bank account holders can now directly load money into their IME Pay wallets using the bank’s mobile banking app.

This service is expected to provide Nabil Bank customers with a convenient and seamless experience while using IME Pay services.

IME Pay, promoted by IME Digital Solutions Limited, is Nepal’s first electronic payment service provider under the mobile wallet app category.

The company is also the first to offer mobile wallet services in Nepal under the Payment and Settlement Bylaws 2072 issued by the Nepal Rastra Bank.

Through the IME Pay mobile wallet, customers can perform various payment transactions on their own or through agents. These include person-to-person money transfers, payments at online and physical stores using QR codes, mobile recharges, and bill payments for household and office services.

The mobile wallet also offers benefits like interest earnings and various cashback schemes.

IME Digital Solutions Limited aims to contribute to Nepal’s financial inclusion by providing financial services to underserved and unbanked populations, thereby enhancing access to banking services.

IME Pay has successfully provided electronic payment services to over 2 million customers through its mobile wallet app and agents.
