Suspicious object found near school in Chandragiri Municipality

KATHMANDU: A suspicious object has been discovered near a school in Chandragiri Municipality-2, Balambu, Kathmandu.

The object was found in the yard of a house close to the school on Thursday morning.

According to Inspector Upendra Prasad Acharya from the Balambu Police Station, the object resembling a pressure cooker in a bag was deemed potentially hazardous.

Consequently, the army’s Bomb Disposal Unit was notified.

The army team is currently disposing of the suspicious object.

Once the disposal process is complete, it will be confirmed whether the object is a bomb.
