PM Oli calls Cabinet Meeting to discuss lifting TikTok ban

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called a Cabinet meeting scheduled for 5 PM today.

The meeting is expected to discuss the possibility of lifting the ban on the social media platform TikTok.

Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, is expected to present a proposal to the Cabinet to lift the restriction on TikTok.

Prime Minister Oli has shown interest in this matter and directed Minister Gurung to engage in necessary discussions.

TikTok has also addressed Minister Gurung, requesting the lifting of the ban through a formal letter.
