KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives, under the Federal Parliament, is set to convene today.

The meeting will take place at 1 PM at the Parliament building in New Baneshwor.

In today’s session, the Speaker will make changes to the names of members in various subject committees under the House of Representatives.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to respond to questions posed by MPs as per Chapter 9 of the House of Representatives Rules, 2079.

MP Dr. Toshima Karki will draw the attention of the Minister of Health and Population to the issue of “the need to enhance the effectiveness of the forecast, control, and rapid response to potential health emergencies caused by the cholera epidemic.”

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel is set to present the “Securities Bill (First Amendment), 2081” in today’s meeting.

Additionally, a notice of opposition from MP Prem Suwal regarding the proposal to seek permission to present the “Economic Procedure and Financial Responsibility (First Amendment) Bill, 2081” will be presented for decision.
