KATHMANDU: A detainee from the Area Police Office in Anarmani has escaped from a hospital by throwing off his handcuffs.

The escaped detainee has been identified as 25-year-old Bishal Rai, a Bhutanese refugee residing in Sector G3 of the Beldangi Refugee Camp in Damak, according to the police.
