Muktinath Bikas Bank & Chapakot Campus in Syangja sign MoU

KATHMANDU: Muktinath Bikas Bank and Chapakot Campus, located in Ward No. 9 of Chapakot Municipality, Syangja District, have entered into a mutual agreement to enhance financial literacy, offer internships, and provide career opportunities in banking to students.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Rishiram Dhakal, the Regional Head of Gandaki for Muktinath Development Bank, and Poshraj Devkota, the Acting Head of Chapakot Campus.

The agreement aims to offer various programs, including internships, financial literacy training, and career development activities to students enrolled in the undergraduate management faculty at Chapakot Campus. These opportunities will be provided in accordance with prevailing laws, regulations, and directives from the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB).

Rishiram Dhakal, the Regional Head of Gandaki, emphasized that the primary objective of this agreement is to provide valuable opportunities while adhering to the relevant legal and regulatory framework.

The MoU will be effective for a period of five years.

The signing ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including Sundar Shrestha, Branch Manager of Muktinath Development Bank’s Chapakot branch; Yuvraj Shrestha from the Loan Desk; Nabin Kafle, Branch Manager of the Waling branch; former Chairpersons of Chapakot Campus Hiranyalal Acharya and Bharat Pathak; and other notable figures such as Sitarm Gaire, Durga Dhakal, Dolraj Adhikari, Bindhu Paudyal, Prem Chandra Bhattarai, as well as faculty members, teachers, social workers, and Krishna Subedi, the Ward Chairperson of Ward No. 9.

The program was successfully conducted under the chairmanship of Mukundraj Acharya, the Chair of Chapakot Campus.
