Khilendra Poudel appointed as Deputy CEO of IME Life Insurance

KATHMANDU: Khilendra Paudel has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of IME Life Insurance Company Limited.

Following the merger of IME Limited and GME, Paudel has transitioned from his role as Chief Executive Officer of IME Limited to join IME Life Insurance.

Since the establishment of IME Limited, Paudel has held various responsibilities, notably in remittances, payment systems, fintech, digital wallets, and cross-border transactions.

He has also served in senior management roles at financial institutions promoted by the IME Group, including Smart Choice, Sani Securities, and IME Digital Solutions.

Paudel holds an MBA in Finance from Tribhuvan University and has completed executive courses in Financial Management and Cross-Border Investment Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and the Institute of Bankers Malaysia.

Additionally, he has pursued a professional course in Policy Design and Financial Services from Harvard Kennedy School in the United States.

With his extensive education and managerial experience, Paudel is poised to effectively fulfill his responsibilities at IME Life and contribute to the development of strategic business partnerships in the insurance sector.
