KATHMANDU: Sher Bahadur Deuba, the President of the Nepali Congress, has emphasized that the agreement between the two major parties is aimed at advancing the nation rather than opposing other parties.

Speaking at an event in Kathmandu on Tuesday, Deuba explained that the democratic socialist constitution, based on pluralism, requires successful implementation through bipartisan cooperation.

He also stressed the need for constitutional amendments to address issues arising during its implementation.

Deuba highlighted that the agreement between the two major parties is intended to advance the nation and should not be misunderstood as being against any particular party.

He reassured that the details of this agreement have been made public in written form and are not being concealed.
